HB 1197 85(R) - 2017 Under current law, an agent, insurer, or health maintenance organization that is considering appointment of a temporary license applicant as its agent is required to provide at least 40 hours of training to the applicant. The training should be completed by no later than the 14th day after the date the application, nonrefundable fee, and certificate are delivered or mailed to the department. SB 730 85(R) - 2017 Under current law, a person is entitled to an exemption from taxation of their personal property if the property is used for the production of income, and has a taxable value of less than $500. SB 730 would extend the exemption from taxation to property that has a taxable value of up to $2,500.Read More
SB 731 85(R) - 2017 Under current law, one of the requirements for a property to be eligible for appeal through binding arbitration is for the property value to be $3 million or less. SB 731 would revise the requirement by raising the eligible property value to be $5 million or less.
